Remember they saw the Outback AWD work pulling a trailer up a muddy hill and then the Volvo just spun its front tires and never kicked in AWD? The front wheel will spin without much effort on the part of the engine. Damn. well, I guess I'll be sticking to good ole' 4wd for offroading. AWD does do pretty good though, I have to admit. Yea AWD does great for what is designed for. If you are off-roading 4wd is the way to go, but I will take my AWD any day on the road or for light off-road stuff.
