GLCraig Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 I'm in the middle of a clutch job; I plan on taking the flywheel off and replacing the rear main seal while I'm at it. Dose anyone have the torque specs for the flywheel bolts. I don't want it to fly out going down the road but I don't want to torque it uneven enough to warp it either. Zefy Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 ummm i really don't know but that sound really too high... on my 79(they are so similar aren't they... ) i torque them down to 20 something... a jerkfaces guy in my auto shop torqued them down to 90 and they all broke...all 8...
