carfreak85
My friend has a 93 legacy that after driving for about 20 minutes has the e-brake and battery warning lights come on. She says that after 20 min they start flashing and then will stay lit until she turns the car off. The car has 120,000=+ miles. Can anyone help her? Legacy777
It's probably a dieing alternator. Have her take it to an autozone or something, and have them check the electrical/charging system.
Cougar
I agree with Josh. The alternator is having trouble. Some of the dash warning lights are in the field circuit to the alternator and that is why they light up when the alternator has a problem. coloradosubarules
Sounds like a dying alternator. Take it and get it checked by a professional. There is your second opinion. You can take our word for it or the tow truck drivers. It's your call now. Hope this helps
