Complete Engine Sheet?

Recommended Posts

I have been having this idea in the back of my head for some time now so i figured why not now... i am alsways reading posts asking what engine comes in which cars and how much power you can find in them...

so i think there should be a reference page that tells you all the engines that subaru has made and what model and year they are from...

so on this list i think it should look something like this(i am going to do my car...because its mine...)

1979

Brat

1600cc

65hp

S/R 4WD or FWD 4sp manual or 3sp auto

ok ya... so thats what i had in mind... a quick reference guide ordered my year... going from 68(thats when the 360 came out right??) all the way up to now...

if there is a site that already has all this stuff then please tell me the site...

so is anybody up to the task of doing this???

I dunno if the VINs carried info about the engines/transmissions or not, but if they did, it might be a good idea to have a section relating to VIN decoding. Perhaps a photograph of each engine in its various forms would be useful too.
