Zefy Posted October 8, 2004 Share Posted October 8, 2004 I have been having this idea in the back of my head for some time now so i figured why not now... i am alsways reading posts asking what engine comes in which cars and how much power you can find in them... so i think there should be a reference page that tells you all the engines that subaru has made and what model and year they are from... so on this list i think it should look something like this(i am going to do my car...because its mine...) 1979 Brat 1600cc 65hp S/R 4WD or FWD 4sp manual or 3sp auto ok ya... so thats what i had in mind... a quick reference guide ordered my year... going from 68(thats when the 360 came out right??) all the way up to now... if there is a site that already has all this stuff then please tell me the site... so is anybody up to the task of doing this??? samo Posted October 8, 2004 Share Posted October 8, 2004 I dunno if the VINs carried info about the engines/transmissions or not, but if they did, it might be a good idea to have a section relating to VIN decoding.
