roque43 Posted October 11, 2004 Share Posted October 11, 2004 I have a 90 Legacy AWD Auto trans wagon -- have a pair of 195/70-14 studded tires and another pair of 205/70-14 studded tires -- want to use them this winter. ? is are the 2 sizes ok to use -- one matching pair front, and other matching pair rear. SuperRallyRoo Posted October 11, 2004 Share Posted October 11, 2004 Maybe if u where driving on 100% snow or ice. But if u drive it on the tarmac your going to experience some major binding problems. I know I had 4 matching tire sizes but 3 different brands. And my tranny shifted horrible and I had binding around corners while backing up and all that fun stuff.
