Oil filler Tube Gasket???
Posted 12 October 2004 - 09:02 AM
I have a bad oil leak coming from in btw the oil filler tube( where you put oil in the engine ) and the valve cover.
I am just wondering what type of gasket is it? Rubber o ring or paper gasket?
Can I use the gasket from the tube to seal the leak?

if it were me, immediately after reinstalling it with out the strainer gasket I would probably drop somthing down the hole. maby that stuff just happens to me.
I had a spare one but I think I gave it away already.
