jeansain
Hello All: Great site! I just bought a 96 Impreza Outback Sport with 141K miles. It's my second car specifically for the tough Toronto winters. It's in pretty good shape and I expect (I wish I'll have) many years of trouble free motoring from it. I don't have any records of timing belt service. I understand it's supposed to be a non-interference engine (I've done some reading). What am I risking by not changing it right away? Can it be inspected to verify its condition? What else needs immediate attention in this car? TIA
Cougar
Welcome aboard and hope the new addition serves you well. As far as things to do you may want to get all the fluids changed or at least inspected so you know where you stand with them. I would also have the undercarridge checked for any problems.
