BIG DADDY
Hi, newby here! Say, I have this 94 sub. wagon of my daughters that we are selling but do not know what the "Mi" model stands for on the back tailgate, can anybody clue me in? The heater core is out, I have had an estimate from a mechanic to fix it for $600, does this sound high and how hard is it to replace? I live in Denver and do not really know any good sub. mechanics, any suggestions? Thx! BIG DADDY
Legacy777
The Mi was a special package in 94. You can read more info here http://www.cars101.com/subaru_legacy_archive.html#1994%20Legacy As for the heater core. That sounds a little high, but to get at the heater core, they pretty much have to tear the entire dash apart to replace it...which is A LOT of labor. coloradosubarules
Welcome to the board BIG DADDY. Glad to have you on board. Don't you know someone who could do the work for alot less? If I was there I would buy your car from you in a heartbeat. That is a really nice car. I wish mine had a CD player and heated seats. I am dropping a grand on a 93 Legacy wagon in the next two weeks. It has 140K and it is a stick shift. It's really nice. Give me a holler if you have any questions.
