Hi all!
I am trying to get a new set of struts. I have received some very useful info from another forum but I am still wondering if anyone out there knows if I can put performance struts on my Outback Sport? Has anyone done it? If so, any brand you recommend or info you can give me would be great. Thanks

Impreza/Impreza Wagon struts should do you just fine.

KYB/AGX or STi struts.

Do I need to be concerned about anything in terms of mounting. Should they line up the same? Should I take out the spacer that gives the Outback Sport more clearance? Thanks, by the way, for the quick reply - ur awesome!

basically they should line up the same.

if you get full strut / spring setup - it should bolt right up. you can re-use your top mounts or you can buy newer/stiffer ones (they call them STi group N mounts)

You will want to re use the spring seats if the setup you get does not have them.

it's really not that tough :)

wrx wagon, wrx suspension should drop right in.

shout if you have questions!
Jamie
