About the starter's contact replacement. I had a look at the picture you posted but have a hard time making myself understood at the dealer. Would you happen to know the part numbers of the three contacts you're talking about ?

Don't have 'em on hand but I'll find out later today. It's been awhile since I stopped by the parts counter 'just because.' :)

Ok, here's what I found out. Per my dealer the starter contacts are *not* a Subaru part and anybody looking for such won't find 'em. Go figure. They get their contacts aftermarket, from Abe Auto Battery & Electric in Tigard, OR. Address and phone are 13965 SW 72nd Ave,Tigard,OR 97223, (503) 620-0888.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Russ. I'll try finding a starter rebuilder that could supply same around here. If not, I'll get in touch with Abe.
