areadan Posted October 31, 2004 Share Posted October 31, 2004 hi, i just replaced the clutch in my '97 Impreza Outback Sport. After reinstalling everything back in its place, The car has a hard time getting in and out of gears. The clutch works fine (although the cable needs some fine tuning) I replaced the gear oil with 80w90- api gl 5 or whatever it says in the manual. the shift mechanism appears to be put back together correctly based on what i can tell from the haynes manual (for the legacy) and my memory. any ideas? i am thinking i will just keep driving it around to see if it loosens up. -dan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
