Nug Posted November 9, 2004 Share Posted November 9, 2004 Are Facet/Purolater "clicker" pumps good or insufficient? The $210 brat has some fuel starvation isues. The primary fuel filter has been replaced, and the underhood one will be replaced tomorrow. All fuel/water was drained, a couple gallons of fresh fuel and a couple of bottles of isopropyl alcohol added (ISO HEET). I don't think water is an issue anymore. Basically, when you get both barrels of the Hitachi open, she screams for a sec and then starts surging, and then it'll try to die until you let up.
