I have a 2000 Legacy GT and only recently realized that certain quirks of my car that I accepted as "normal" were covered by updated replacement parts. I would have been screwed were it not for an extended warranty. Access to such bulletins could guide a buyer into buying an extended warranty as the standard one reaches its expiration time.
