Canuk
Hey - I'm new to the board... I have searched a bit for the answer to my questions, however I have not found anything, so I thought I would ask. I own a 1996 Subaru Legacy LSI (2.5...not sure if it is DOHC or SOHC however), it has 277,000 km's on it, and still runs fairly well. I need this car to keep running well for a long time, and am curious as to what I should be doing to keep it in tip top condition (other than regular maintanence). Are engine treatments such as Slick 50 or Duralube a good idea? Any specific motor oil that I should be using? Specific detergent / cleaning agent to clean out the engine a bit? Anything else you might recomend? I'm not much of a grease monkey, so I need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance.
