Just when I was feeling great about fixing my windshield wiper problem, thanks to this forum, another more serious problem has come up. The rear tail light and front turn signal lights won't turn off:banghead:. Key is off, engine off, headlights off, but running lights won't shut off. Only when I pull the fuse will the lights go out. Gnuman Posted November 29, 2004 Share Posted November 29, 2004 Check the "P" switch on the top of the column. That switch turns on the parking lights by themselves. akapun Posted November 29, 2004 Author Share Posted November 29, 2004 Thanks for the help. I guess I have lived in Alaska so long I have "frost bitten" brain. My son, who usually knows even less than I know about cars, suggested I check to swith on the steering colunm. I hardly ever drive this car and totaly disremembered about that switch. I spent all day detailing the interior and must have hit the switch. All is well now. Thanks again for helping this frequently "lost" Alaskan.
