Ok, I have a vintage 1985 deck in my wagon. It's been a long time since I have seen an analog tuner in a car, and I dig that, but the cassette is broken. I have a Sony xplode deck sitting around that I would like to swap in. It's a standard DIN style.

Will this work? Where should I look to get an adaptor to fit the deck in the dash? Any other issues?

Get a dash adapter at a stereo shop, Metra is the company that makes it.

Also get the mounting brackets off an 88-94 GL/DL/Loyale, they will allow for a standard DIN size radio to be mounted in the center.

I'll warn you though, this car has a very shallow mounting bay. Most modern stereos will BARELY fit inside with the Metra adapter, but some will sill stick out.

Why not just keep that analog radio... and a small amp to the speaker outputs of the radio and istall a hidden cd changer that plays the cd's over the FM band... That way you could still keep the factory look....
