Numbchux Posted December 6, 2004 Share Posted December 6, 2004 my friend just bought these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2494336295&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT for the motors and trannys, from that crappy pic, is it worth restoring one into an EJ__ powered baja bug? or maybe just a street demon. any thoughts? what kind of fabbing needs to be done? since he needs both trannys I'm thinking use a FWD tranny out of the donor subie. Or maybe AWD (ok, one thing at a time). Anyway what do you more experienced transplanters think? cost? I'll stop babbling now, thanks. If anyone has any answers, it will defiantly be him! The one on the right looks a little better condition then the other one but like I always tell people, if YOU think its worth it, GO FOR IT!!!
