how much does this car weight???

I'm gonna put a cage in the car, and the weight determines the tubing you use.

The car started life as a GL-10 Turbo Sedan with 5 spd Dual Range. All the interior expect the seats, belts, and dash have been removed. The A/C and P/S have been pitched. All the lights saw the dumpster ages ago. All the asphalt sound deadening crap on the floors is gone.

What's it gonna weigh?

4 door Sedan *All 2WD*

GL-10 Turbo MPFI 5MT: 2435lbs
GL-10 Turbo MPFI 3AT: 2470lbs

This is for the 1987 model. If the 1985 model is the same, that car is friggin' LIGHT. I know you have dual range so maybe tack on 75lbs or so. I dunno! Still light.

interesting. The RX's of the era are 2520. I know the 87+ are heavyer due to different materials and safety requirements....2670 for the coupe.
