like the title says... spark is getting to the plug, and they new plugs and wires. i took #4 off of the distriubtor, and there was no change so i know its not igniting. could a blown head gasket cause this?

Me gots the same thing, weak cyl on #1. Yes, I do have ticking from that side. Hummmm sloppy lifter will cause one cyl to not operate correctly? Hafta try swapping out one of those lifters. Yes?
