LPGsuperchargedBrumby
my ea81 motor has gone BOOM:banghead: ,i have a ea82t motor and all the bolt-on stuff that goes with it(manifolds, injecters etc etc) to replace it. what i would like to know is: apart from shapeing the crossmember the motor sits on so the exhaust clears it it there anything else that need to be done so the block will fit in place of the old ea81? what clutch parts do i need to mix'n'match (4 speed manual 'box) will the dizzy run ok without the ecu, as all the gear for LPG is already in the ute and i would prefer to stay with it its a 1992<yes its 4 real< gen 2 type thanks for any help
Ross
You need clutch disk (9") from the ea81 (83 onwards i think) and the ea82 press. plate & flywheel. No idea about the mounting. Distributer running depends on what age ea82t it is. Later ones have crank angle sensor, and are useless without computor. Earlier ones should work without (i think). From what i remember, hte ea82ts went to crank angle sensor in 87 or 88.
