Ok, i finally found a donor car, Im not sure what exact year it is but im asuming 92-94, Legacy sedan.

Found it in the paper for free, Motor runs, no tranny.

Is this motor gonna fit my tranny and motor mounts in the RX?

And will my RX ECU work with 2.2?

Also, Can the hubs from this car fix the rx as well.

Im a little exited to be picking this car up tomarrow:)

Any knowlege is VERY apprieciated!

Motor mounts are pretty close

tranny is not even close

turbo, if you want one will have to have all new exhaust stuff done.. stock RX turbo is too small anyway

wiring harness and ECU will have to be swapped.

You have a lot of work ahead of you. Hope you have some factory service manuals.

So, your saying that the 2.2 will not fit my 5 speed rx tranny?

And the turbo on the 2.2 won't fit my exhuast?

You can adapt the Tranny to fit the EJ22.

The main question is... will the RX Tranny handle the power the EJ22T is capable of putting out?

-Brian

Yet another dumb question, How would i go about adapting the EJ22 to my tranny?

I guess i'll see if the tranny can hold it after it's running:)

Also, will the LSD from the legacy fit EA81 aplications the same as EA82 LSD?

That is correct. Neither the bellhousing nor the turbo is a direct bolt in.

However, as Brian said, a bellhousing adapter can be made.

A new exhaust system can be made as well. Some creative use of WRX exhaust parts will help a lot.

Ok, will the exhaust from the legacy donor car work?

Also, you said the tranny adapter has to be made?, They don't exist otherwise?

And does anyone happen to have one just layin around they might want to part with?.

The tools i have in my garage are limited in that matter.

This will be the first real mods i have done to a subaru, im sorry if i am anoying you guys with dumb questions.

But i really do appreciate all the help.
