JWX Posted August 22, 2003 Share Posted August 22, 2003 ok so I take two thermostats(one is a 180 that came out of my hatch the other one is a 195 that came out of my GL-10), put them in a pot wit water in it and the 180 did not open up until like 210 the 195 opens at like 200. I noticed something they don't open alot, that is a major constriction in the coolant flow. are they supposed to constrict flow or are these just not opening up all the way? all the way?
