Beaudiggity Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 I can get a hold of a header for my EJ18 for pretty cheap. Do you guys think it's worth it? I know the best way to get more power out of my 1.8 is to do the EJ20G swap but maybe in the future. If I get this header I would mate it with new exhaust (cat back) What do you think? I know on flashoptions.com you can get the 96 turbo Impreza engine (EJ20G ?) for $1500.00. This seems reasonable. After looking around this site $3000.00 +/- can get an engine and also have it installed. I'm in no hurry since my EJ18 has only 73000 on the odometer (1995). What do you think. I would love to do this to this car because it sounds like it can be insanely quick with this motor (from what I have heard) I would also pay the right person to put it in for me.
