smurffjet
Just wondering if anyone has had similiar problems with the 4eat transmission in 2000 Outback. Ours will downshift but harshly from 4th to third around town when trying to accelerate, speed between 50 - 70 km/hr (30-40 mph). Sometimes it is so harsh that you can feel a little backlash in the driveline. Its worse whwen going up a hill or slight grade and is Ok above these speeds. Tech has ordered a transmission mount and will try that, but it will get expensive if they replace parts and cannot track down the problem.. any thoughts:-\ Dave
