redf150 Posted February 22, 2005 Share Posted February 22, 2005 GONE THROUGH 3RD SET OF REAR WHEEL BEARINGS 98 FORESTER. FUN CAR OTHERWISE. WILL A STANDARD HUB TAMER TOOL KIT BE ENOUGH TO CHANGE OUT AND INSTALL BEARINGS AND SEALS? WILL A SLIDE HAMMER BE NEEDED TO PULL OUT THE HUB? WILL BE USING LEGACY STYLE WHEEL BEARINGS THIS TIME. I WILL PROBABLY BE USING THE HEAT/COLD METHOD TO INSTALL BEARING'S AND HUB ASSEMBLY FOR EASE OF FIT. I WOULD GUESS THERE IS PRETTY CLOSE TOLERANCE'S. ANY INFORMATION ON TOLERANCE'S.
