GLCraig Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 The purge control solenoid, opens to allow gas vapor to enter the intake manifold from the charcoal canister. If I remember right it dose this at startup and the ECU closes the solenoid after the engine reaches a certain temperature.
