ok..so the legacy turbo i got..the rod coming off the wastegate is all bent and broken. do i have to get a wastegate from that same model to replace it..or would one from another IHI work?

Just hit any major on-line turbo shop and order up an "adjustable wastegate" for that series turbo and you can replace the failed part as well as adding the ability to adust your boost up or down over stock.

the thing is i don't need an adjustable one ( i have a boost controler) im just looking for a stock replacement

Man, how the heck did it get bent in the first place. I'll check my EJ20G Leagcy turbo, my EJ20G Impreza turbo and my EA82T turbos and see if there is much difference.
