Hi Linda,

Check the link above. Then click on "search members" (right of page above State) then click on Advanced Search and specify Pittsburgh in the city as a qualifier. There are two pages of members that specify your home town but there may be others on the site that didn't enter that data in their profile.

If you scroll down, there are some that have numerous posts. They apparently are either very helpful or very lost. At any rate, we are all on the road to find out...

If no one happens on to your post and you remain at a loss, try and send an e-mail or Private Message to one of these scoundrels.

My mom always takes her Legacy to a BP service station in Slippery Rock, PA for work, or Kerven Sunaru in Butler, PA. I have never had to have any work done on my Outback yet...but i'd end up going to Kerven because I don't really know of any indipendent Subaru mechanics.

Linda,

Just to chime in with no help

I am about 50 miles out east (Latrobe area)

Although I own many vehicles including

about a dozen Subarus.

I have never found

a reputable or trustworthy mechanic.

(and my bro in law is head saleman

at Kunkles Subaru in Delmont, his cousin owns the joint!)

Therefore I have to spin all my own wrenches.

Just a bit of "misery loves company" as

I am in the same boat as you.

I will keep a peeper peeled for you though

Methinks I should take a mechanics course. I have a grown son (living with me) who knows less about cars than I do. I've never been afraid to tackle anything and, who knows, I may have hidden talents. Won't know until I pick up a wrench, eh?

Thanks Mark....I read the posts but gathered that most aren't experiencing mechanical problems and were looking for "subi pals?" I have to learn this lingo!!! Also, lots of Steelers fans.....yeah! Jerome just re-signed....at a salary cut. What a great guy!! We just love him!!!
