oobnuker
How big of a job is this? Can it be done in the car? I'm thinking, disconnect the radiator hoses, battery wires, etc. loosen the nuts, and jack her up? Is there enough vertical clearance to do this? Or do I have to yank the motor or do something else???
MorganM
If you can raise her a good 3 inches it shouldnt be a problem unbolting the mounts. All of the motor mount bolts can be accessed even with it sitting on the X member (its tough but possible) so with about 3" of clearance you shouldnt have much of a problem. Then you'll prolly have to come a few inches higher to wiggle them out since the stud hodling them to the X member is pretty long. Might have to undoo transmision mounts and main engine stabalizer bar also. Prolly some misc. vacume lines and what not that will limit you but I think its possible w/o actually unhooking the engine from the tranny. Good luck
