Energyblade Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 Hey all, I have question, I had a problem witih my knock sensor and I needed to have it replaced. My friend gave me a 98 legacy outback knock sensor and he told me that between 96-99. They share the same common part. I just wanted to confirm this before I go and install this piece. ballitch Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 your friend is correct, as long as the wiring and connectors for your harness knock sensor and the 98' knock sensor are the same, they more than likely are, its just one wire, so if its not, cut the connector off and "hard-wire" it in. ~Josh~ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
