Gilles we are rolling out the product through CARQUEST in Quebec starting April 4,2005 from their warehouse in Boucherville, I expect by the end of April all CARQUEST stores in Quebec will have Sea Foam product.

I'll try my best to be simple and clear (in case you get this next morning) :)

1) Inspite of my best efforts, I could not find Sea Foam anywhere here, so I sent an email to the company. You read the reply.

2) There are on this Board some members from Quebec. I thought some of them might have looked for it also with the same result. I wanted to break the good news to them.

3) Since I was nice enough to answer your question, could you in turn tell me what other motives I could have had to post this? Just curious. :-\

But, of course, you must intend to buy up ALL the Sea Foam, and then secede!

Non?

I've been thinking for a long time that the Parti Québecois needs a new strategist and I think I found one for them. Dont be surprised if you get a call from Bernard Landry. With Sea Foam and Purple Jesus we can rule the world.:drunk:

I assume this is the stuff you mean. Adding to Carb/FI Manifold makes sense for cleaning the injectors. What about this bizzniss of adding to the crankcase oil? Seems a bit iffy to me but I am still on the upward side of the learning curve.

Yes.

I would use it as a fuel system and upper cylinder cleaner. I dont know about the crankcase part. But I'm sure someone on the board has an answer for you.

Given your 'ahem' age. Did you ever hear of a Parti Quebecois activist who called himself 'Le Bison' (sorry, I don't know how to do the diacritical marks). He was some sort of political activist street performance artist in the late sixties, maybe early 70's. I know he managed to get himself arrested on a semi-regular basis for challenging the 'system'.

A girlfriend of many years was married to him, and at some point she got deported for conduct unbecoming an immigrant or something. I don't think she ever got divorced, I suppose he died off at some point. I guess they were in the thick of the seperatist movement at that time.

I'll grab a jug of Purple Jesus, come up, declare 1st Nation status and help you take over!

Yes, It was Patrick Straram called «Le Bison Ravi» The Delighted Buffalo.

Was as you described. Drank and smoked (big cigars) himself to death.

I'm afraid we are going to be offtopicked off this board...old man.:dead:

But, as you said : l'audace, toujours l'audace!

Add it to the crancase a few hundred miles before an oil change. Sorta like a Marvel Mystery Oil enema for your engine.

No one knows what either one of them are.

It says right on the bottle, "100% pure petroleum".

From the MSDS:

40-60% Pale Oil

25-35% Naphtha

10-20% IPA (Isopropal Alcohol, which, AFAIK, is not petroleum.)

The product claims many uses, most of which involve breaking down carbon and rust buildups. Naphtha and IPA are found in other products which do the same.

It looks like it's simply high-energy petroleum distillate, functioning by absorbing carbon deposits.
