NorthWet Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 Funny that this came up right now: I just got my forklift certification, and they warned SPECIFICALLY against trying to use a car to pull our small 6000lb forklift out of a rut. "Momentum" doesn't work terribly well when your moving car is 2000lbs and the stationary, stuck vehicle is 6000-12000lbs of cast iron on solid rubber wheels. It's obviously possible.
