Sweet82
I was driving to work today behind a new Outback (2005?), I was noticing the Outback had dual exhausts. Then I got looking at the back of the car. It looks like to route the exhaust to the back they split it to two mufflers just to the rear of the diff. Have they lowered the clearance of the Outback with the exhaust? From the rear the exhaust was hiding the diff, the exhaust appeared to be the lowest point on the vehicle? Is this the way they all are or was this one screwed up? Something seems wrong? Glenn, 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
Setright
Hmm, the ones I have seen at the dealer didn't seem that bad. Have you noticed the exhaust system on the Volvo XC90? The pipes are routed underneath the diff, making them the lowest point on the car. Dangling in two rubber hangers ready to get pulled off when the car goes off-road. Tiny Clark
No problem, people who drive XC90s are only pretending they will drive off-road.
