Too much oil in your motor can cause seals/gaskets to go once you hit the gas hard enough. I dont know how much oil you need to put in in order to accomplish this tho, the one time I tried (I was mad at a mustang I had) I kept popping the half assed "seal" around the dipstick tube since the sleeve has snapped and it was only held in place by the dipstick.

ok.. IM having oil leak issues... its coming from the back of the motor somewhere its not really bad but..... i checked the engine and got an incorrect oil measurement.. i put a quart in.. is a quart over enough to cause damage.. and the leak?

you said it's leaking at the back of the engine, can you see it like from the pan? on some 2.2 engines and maybe some 2.5s theres a plate that's behind the clutch in between the engine an trans that had a tendincy to leak cause it was made out of plastic.they will leak down through the seam of engine an trans an then of course on your driveway:rolleyes: hope this helped.of course i could be wrong to:banghead:
