Caboobaroo's 79 DL wagon has height adjustments on the front struts, much the same as my 84 GL wagon. I was never aware of the 70's style having the height-adjustable front struts, so does he have EA81 struts up front??

Can't say for sure on the '79 but my '81 Brat had the adjustable fronts on it.

I've seen adjustable struts on a 81 brat. As far as having ea81 struts in a 79, I would have to say no. struts from an ea81 are longer, have a bigger spring diameter and the spacing between the studs on the strut tops are different.

All Gen one Brats and and 4WD wagons had adjustable front struts. The 2WD version cars and wagons did not. However, ALL struts from this vintage will interchange. Someone has put 4WD struts on your 2WD wagon at some point.
