I have 2 cats and the diagrams that I have been able to find only show one. IS this an aftermarket system, or are the diagrams wrong? If the diagrams are wrong and my exhaust is stock the connection brock at the gasket behind the second cat. Any ideas on how to fix it, or a place to buy aftermarket parts. But I'll tell you one thing about your dealer ... RUN! You can most certainly do this (whatever it is aftermarket). Do you live in an inspection state? DUH, never mind the last ... I just looked. beezer Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 Not familliar with the 95's, but I think they might have 2 cats. My exhaust cracked along a weld at the cat, and I was able to get someone to weld it back together, cost me $20. Might be something to look into. lmdew Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 It may be the bolts that hold the muffler pipe to the cat. There are two of these with the springs. Take a look. The yards can't sell cats, but they can sell mufflers. A wide range of years will work as there was little change. Say 90-96. Aftermarket two piece clamping brackets are available and often work well to get a few more years out of the exhaust before something else rusts off. In the next window, choose make, model, submmodel, engine type and then year. Click on "get search results" which will bring up a breakdown of your exhaust system. If you click on "VIEW" it will bring up a picture of your exhaust. I put a Bosal exhaust on my "93 Legacy and was pleased with it. Everything from the "Y" pipe back, including the second cat, was around $400 ish. Oh, got it at the local NAPA store (I happen to get a good customer discount).
