Does anyone what the plug gap for my 02 Legacy L 2.5l should be (using OEM NGK plugs)? I cannot find a reference to this in my manual. Also, is there a recommended torque setting when tightening? Thanks in advance for any responses.

not sure if it's the same but on my 94 leg,it's .44(i believe,or +/- 1)

don't think you really need to torque them down, tighten till the seals seat then1/4-1/2 turn after.that's the most i know, everything else i ask my mech about to be sure.

Correct spark plug gap is shown on the Federal Emissions decal applied to the underside of the hood.

Thanks for the replies! Job was fairly easy, after removing snorkel to air cleaner, battery and washer reservoir to gain access to plug wires. Used a standard spark plug socket with 10" extension on passanger side and 6" & 3" extension on the driver's side. Did not need an elbow, like the endwrech procedure said.
