And do the jack stands go where the owner's manual says to place the jack supplied with the car to remove wheels? If so, the floor jack can't go there. I found a picture of a front jacking plate in Ch. 10 of the Haynes manual. This solves the problem for the front. camosuba Posted September 3, 2003 Share Posted September 3, 2003 yep but make sure there are two stands under the front if its aready in air , see my avatar as an example you can put the stands where the front suspension joins the body.
