John

Thanks for the warm welcome.:-)

One of my vehicles is a Subaru SVX so I mostly post to Subaru-SVX.net.

I live in Gunma which is the 'home' of Subaru and just about every second car here in Gunma is a Subaru! I've been here over 7 years, have bought/sold many cars for myself so know all about 'how it all works' in the Japanese car market.

Only too happy to help out with any JDM Subaru questions, etc.

Can you show us some pictures?

What modifications have you done to your SVX?

No modifications to my SVX, it is stock JDM except for the audio. I have no recent photos as it is no longer here in Japan with me.

Japanese car registration, insurance and shaken are based on a vehicle's weight and body dimensions, so the SVX was very expensive to own and run, and with premium gas at nearly US$4.00 a gallon here, it was making me very poor. I sent it home to NZ where it is in storage.

I replaced it with a Subaru Vivio, 660cc of Japanese 'Kei' car fun, but it went to the crusher last year as it was over 10 years old, so the shaken was going to be too expensive. It had only done 30,000kms. :(
