SCCA Rallycross in Rochester, MN 9/21

Recommended Posts

hey all you subaru junkies in MN come on out for a day of fun in the dirt trying to avoid knocking cones over.

The next round of the Land o' Lakes/Bloomington Subaru rallycross series will be held on Sunday September 21 at the Donovan Motorsports Park in Rochester, Minnesota.

The schedule will be as follows:

Registration/Tech. inspection 10:00-11:45

Driver/Worker meeting 11:45-12:00

Competition 12:00- ?

Entry Fee's are $25 for SCCA members and $30 for non-members

We will try to get a total of six timed runs in. But, as you know that depends on efficient group changes and EVERYONE helping out. If you have a job you really want to do contact me ahead of time please.

The Donovan Farm is a short 1.5 hour drive from the Bloomington area. In the past there has been some confusion regarding directions that should not be a problem this time.

From the North:

Travel south on Hwy. 52 through Rochester then exit onto Hwy. 63 south. After going .8 miles on 63 take a right onto 40th st. south for 4.8 miles then you will take a left onto 60th ave. south and the Donovan farm is .3 mles on the right. Along the way on 40th you wil pass a go-kart track on your left at about 1.7 miles and you will cross Bamber Valley Road at 2.7 miles. There will be RallyX signs as you get closer to the farm.

From the South:

Travel north on Hwy. 63 north then take a left onto 40th st. south for 4.8 miles then you will take a left onto 60th ave. south and the Donovan farm is .3 miles on the right. Along the way on 40th you will pass a go-kart track on your left at about 1.7 miles and you will cross Bamber Valley Road at 2.7 miles. There will be RallyX signs as you get closer to the farm.

At this time food will not be provided, however, that could change if i get enough confirmed and definate interest ahead of time. There is a Subway on the frontage road along 63 its about 10 min. away so plan accordingly. There will be a parking area for trucks and trailers at the farm because the access road to the field will not accomodate them becuse it passes through a wooded area with limited clearance and some turns that may be too tight for trailers. There is no hazard to cars on the driveway to the track.

Thanks,

Greg Donovan
