Faithwheelers Off Road Obstacle Course June 25,2005

Recommended Posts

This year's event will be co-sponsored by Xtreme Offroad Magazine. The faithwheelers and Xtreme Offroad Magazine will be building a brand new rock crawl obstacle this year. This will be for the hard core rigs and buggies - similar to a UROC style obstacle.

The event as always is still FREE to all participants and spectators.

We'll have 2 mud bogs this year. For the 35" and under rigs, we'll have a classic mud bog. For the big rigs, look out!. This isn't a balls to the walls mud bog, you'll need to be able drive as well. They'll be hidden logs on diagonals to wake you up. You'll need to climb out of one section and then drop right back into a deep water hole followed by some off-cambered section section and finally - if you can get out of the "hole that Markus built"... you deserve some kudos! Here's a big of a guy getting out last year. tn_0027277-R2-047-22.jpg

The Obstacle Course is built for the smaller rigs, under 35" tires. We're going to be rebuilding much of this so I'm not sure what's going to be new till we start digging and building. It will be designed so that a stock 4x4 can find lines to get through but may need some tugs, but there will be some challenging line options to make it interesting for ANYONE. Here's a pic of a rig going through pothole alley last year. 003.jpg

The Tuff Truck Course is the same course that the Webfooters will be using on their playday in May. However, it will be tweaked and a few obstacle changed around. Plan on it being tougher that last year and EXPECT to not make it through without a winch or tug. The rock pile from last year is being revamped as well. Last year only 1 rig made it through and he flopped twice on the way. JEEP%20205.jpg

Pre-registration is not required, but it will save time and we give you a free raffle ticket for doing so.

We have raffle prizes from Skyjacker, Warn, PullPal, Crane, Northridge 4x4, High Angle Driveline, ARB and more!
