93legacyman Posted May 22, 2005 Share Posted May 22, 2005 I just purchased a 96 Legacy Outback wagon. I have a 93 Legacy wagon that I'm now going to sell (anyone interested?). My question is this: are the frames the same on these two wagons? I'd like to take the trailer hitch off my 93 and put it on the 96 (it's a heavy duty, U-Haul hitch). forester2002s Posted May 22, 2005 Share Posted May 22, 2005 I couldn't find a Legacy hitch on uhaul.com, but have a look at this site: http://www.hitchesonline.com/auto_hitch_selection.htm If I read that site correctly, they show the same hitch for all Legacy wagons from 1990-1999. mattocs Posted May 22, 2005 Share Posted May 22, 2005 I've got a 96 OBW with a UHaul hitch...so I know they make them. The model is "Drawtite #36234".
