scotiasub
Howdy. I bought my first (used) Subaru about two years ago...I drive the heck out of it and it's been a great car( it's a '99 Legacy L)...but I realize I should probably invest in a manual other than the little owner's manual it came with...any ideas or suggestions? I know very little about cars in general but would like to learn to do simple maintenance, etc. When provoked (by high shop prices, etc.) I have taught myself to replace starters, redo head gaskets and the like but have never consistently looked after a car very well.(In other words I need a fairly simple and straightforward book!) Thanks a lot!
Legacy777
I don't know if they make a haynes or chiltons manual for your year. This may be of interest to you. The factory service manual. If you want the whole thing, please d/l the zip file http://www.main.experiencetherave.com:8080/subaru_manual_scans/1999_Legacy_FSM/
