I have a 2001 legacy GT, I am looking for a hood that will bolt onto the stock mounts. Here in the question lays.... Is there a subaru that has a hood WITH a scoop? I would like to avoid the carbin fiber thing due to them being hella expencive and not really what i am looking for. I heard a rumor that one of the baja turbo hoods would fit, but they didn't have a year referance or anything. Has anyone tried this? heard of anything? web links? HELP ME OUT!! STRANGELUCK65 Posted June 29, 2005 Share Posted June 29, 2005 a '01 legacy turbo hood will fit,or any hood of the same bodystyle.the only thing that may be diferent is the grille.if you or someone you know is good at bodywork-i have a baja scoop assembly that can be fit to anything.i do bodywork/heavy collision,so i know it can be done.soon i'll be fitting an '04 sti scoop to a '00 rs hood for a '96 sport wagon.bodywork is easy provided you don't overthink it.if you need any advice email me at strangeluck65@aol.com .
