ericem
I brought my car to the dealer ship and asked them why the car was so difficult to steer and they looked at it and told me the differential is locked and need $1500CAN to fix it and $2000 with new bearings and i was wondering how long it would be ok to drive the vehicle like this, cause i guess possibly the front or rear differential with break:confused: thx! Legacy777
I don't quite understand what you're asking. Can you provide some clarification.
idosubaru
if you're driving with your differential locked you should not be driving AT ALL. bad news for your center diff in your trans (lots of $$). or drive it off road, then you're fine. got some pastures to drive through to get around? be sure all your tires match. mismatching tires can cause problems like this, though typically it comes and goes/locks and unlocks in my experience. Midwst
Would never recommend using new parts on differential. Plenty of good used stuff out there. MUCH LESS $$$$ And don't have the dealer do it. Find someone better. also get a second opinion. Lots of things can cause difficulty steering. No, don't keep driving it...maybe to a shop thats all. Depends how bad, might be better to tow??
