Big applause to the Staff, put on a great show again. I think we will be needing some folks to step forward to volunteer for the following events :brow: Might be some big shoes to fill tho. Thanks to all the Sponsers, without them it wouldnt happen at all.

I was also like to add that I had lots of fun.

The Show and Shine was OK but I really enjoyed the offroading adventure that me and about 6 other cars went on towards the end of the day on Saturday :)

It was a blast!

In the future we need more offroad events imho.

Yeah, the offroad... I didn't do it (had a soccer-mom wagon and was a wimp), but someone had what looked like a gen1 Legacy sedan without any window glass at all in it, took a few passengers along, and EVERYBODY came back redecorated in mud!

I got there midday, got to see a lot of familiar faces and some new faces to go with their screen names.

I too drove down EARLY sat morning. Hung out took some pics, I had to be back in Seattle by 2 so I left before the action. I was the guy rolling around in the black Loyale with bike racks taking pics and asking questions about lifting EA82s. I was gonna take her trailin, but SooberDave told me my car was too nice to take out into the trails that were too narrow, so I played in the mud hole for a bit.

Thanks to the planners, thanks to Subaru for the free hat.

Maybe next year I can stay all weekend.

later,

todd

ya i had a super great time. got to meat lots of people, aarin, sparky, austin, snowman, it was a great time. i seen that green legacy with no windows. he had the rims turned inside out and swampers on them. there was also a guy with a xt6 motor in a lifted wagon.. we were out on the trails and there was this big clearing and a old burned up ford probe. he started bashing it and trying to knock the doors off and then he decided to run it over.:) he had a wicked skid plate on it. and one of the guys from AA jumped his wagon.(the blue wagon, not the grey one). he caught like 5 feet of air and when he landed :drunk: ... he blew a couple axles. but it was awsum. also, he had a drum in the back(a lil wooden drum) that when he jumped, it flew up and broke out his rear window. o that was a great time. im definaley go next year. if it isnt to far, then it will be ROAD TRIP:)

yep it was a blast got there at 5pm friday and left at 9am today but man I hope there is one next year cause wife wants to defanately go next year

was fun doing that late afternoon runs of Paul Eklunds car and a few others before the caretaker came out ticked as can be lol but was a bummer I couldn't get the 76 out there in time but I did take the fenceline trail though and didn't scrape underneath that is but the sides got some scotch broom sweepings lol

was a good turnout I had the oldest flat 4 there (Smart Service had their 360 there) met alot of the guys I have been talking with for the last 5 years finaly!!! and met alot of guys again that I knew and met before too lol and had some good chats with some of the guys too and had positive feedback from alot of newschoolers on my wagon and also Richierich's convertible

and also positive feedback on my ideas for my 76 too :)

didn't take many pics but have a couple I will post of a 76 MY WIFE found north of the fairgrounds heading up to Sequim and even went to talk to the guy that was at the place about it for the bumpers (gotta love her for that) so now she has been majorly converted now haha. but thanks to Noah for the pic taking I don't need to worry about not taking many

still it was nice to meet all ya guys and hope to meet ya again soon enough

...and great times were had by all.

I'm glad I got to meet a bunch of people. Ken, Eric, Richie, I know I said it to you guys at one point or another over the weekend, but I wanted to say it again publicy. Thanks a LOT for all the effort that went into this. I know it didn't turn out as well as was hoped (no mud bog, etc.) but it was an awesome weekend nonetheless. I know I'm probably forgetting someone, but thanks to everyone who helped make this weekend possible.

I went back this morning (rough to live just 35-40 miles from the event :brow: ), and Scoobywagon took me in his wagon along the trails and into the gravel pit. I am a roadracer/autox'r/lowered RWD kind of guy, but it was pretty fun and pretty impressive to see what that wagon could get through. I even took a turn at the wheel and didn't kill anyone or the wagon. One of Scoobywagon's friends joined us (lifted wagon with ER27), and I got to watch him put his right front tire into some big hole... all we saw from behind was the guy going around a slow-ish corner and then his left rear tire was a foot and a half off of the ground... and stayed there for a minute 'til he backed out.

Good times...

Thanks to all that had a hand in organizing this years event!!!

Gee Rob, that's funny, you registered as bringing the XT6, maybe that's why the Hatch broke.

I'd like to thank the organizers of the event! I always have such a good time.

It seems that both last year and this year, i've come back from the show lusting after a vehicle that has off-road abilities, and shocked that I'll likely not see most of the people that I spent the last 2 days with for another year.

Had a blast. Thank God my kids only got lost once.

And by the way, I WON BEST LEGACY!!!!!!!!

We left the campsite at about 2 pm today after Kelly got finished swapping in a random Subaru radiator into the Forester whos radiator blew while doing donuts in the gravel lot

. Only Q-man was left attempting to get their RV started. Bad mojo or sumptin.... Damn battery and starter was giving them fits.

We will be back again....

WOOOO HOOOO!!!

What a blast!! :drunk:

I arrived mid-morning on saturday (would have been earlier if not for some bad directions from some locals ) I tried to make it by friday night, but it was just too much and had to sleep at a rest area :-p (more like park and TRY to sleep area) Once I got there it was great!!

I almost wouldn't have gone on the off-road course at all, but I followed a group of you all that followed the lifted XT6 powered wagon about 6-7PM saturday and decided if other non-lifted subys could do it, so could I!! :headbang:

Once past the deep rutts at the beginning, the rest was just fun in the sun ...

I accomplished all my goals, selling my carb & roll bar + my rear bumper which I hadn't planned on selling :brow:

Was it Noah that asked me if I wanted my brat's pics taken going side-ways in the gravel pit through the water? If so, just lemme know and I wil pay ya what you need :burnout:

I also had a great time earlier showing off my brat and all my little mods (condensator made from a tea maker, etc.) and I don't remember the board name of the guy I sold the carb to, Bob was his name tho, he was the kewlest!! At the raffle he gave me his tickets shortly into it and I won a 1/2 price off a custom Mudrat roof rack!!!:clap::brow:

Thanks to everyone who helped put on the event, I don't remember all who I talked to, but you all made it great!!

Sorry I had to leave unexpectedly soon after all the fun in the gravel pit started ... I got to see what happends when you have a "drum on board" and do 5' jumps in a AA lifted wagon :drunk: then my brother calls in Oregon asking when I would be at his place, so I took a short-cut back to the road (thanks for the cheers BTW going between that tree and small hill on the way out) and didn't get a chance to really say good-bye, it was a BLAST!!! TTYAL-

Just want to thank the regulars (the Portland crew) and the other LC.org folks Laurel and I already knew for making our campsite entertaining . . . and to all you we met for the first time, it truly was a pleasure.

Austin, thanks for the ride you gave us on the trail . . . hope the video turns out, and I wish I had brought the camera. Oh well, we'll just wait for Noah to post what he took. :D

A big thanks to the Rallitek crew (specifically Joel, Brydon, Matt, etc) for the company while trying to find the rest of the pack Saturday evening. I had a good time, despite never reaching our destination.

And a huge thanks to Ken and the rest of the event organizers for putting together what I thought was a well-done weekend. As Laurel mentioned, let us know what we can do to help out for next year.
