I'm sort of new to subarus, and i'm looking to replace the stock header when i swap my TD04 into my RX hatch. Do the headers from any engine from the EJ series bolt on?

theres a company called techworks engineering that makes an ea82 header. do a search for TWE, you should find numerous posts about it. im confused if they produced a version that lets you bolt a td04 to it, i know there was a lot of talk about it.

1-704-536-9635 ask for Mike Melton in Parts.
This header is designed to allow you to use the stock VF7 turbo, or ANY of the newer style IHI/Mitsu turbos (VF11, VF34, VF22, VF39, TD04L-13G, 16G, 20G, Zilla SZ55....etc...the list goes on).
Cost? $399+shipping.
How many exist in the world? Less than 20. Better buy yours tomorrow!

Yikes! I wish i had that kind of money right now. Being 16 has its disadvantages.:-\ Is there any cheaper alternative? Caboobaroo said the TD04 won't fit on exactly, you have to play with the header a little. I'm just looking into a new header to fix the problem. Thanks for all the info so far.

the TD04 does fit onto a stock EA82 uppipe but the rear stud the bolts the turbo to the uppipe needs to be removed and welded to the header since it sits about 1/2" further back then the IHI RBx turbos. Also the stud will have to be shortened so the WRX downpipe will fit once the turbo is bolted down.

the TWE header does not have that issue. ANY SUBARU bolt on turbo will bolt onto the TWE header as I posted before.
