gillans Posted July 18, 2005 Share Posted July 18, 2005 HI everyone out there ivé just joined this site to enjoy the pleasure of other suburu owners. I own a 97 outback 2.5 with 170000ks on it and the head gasket went ivé just put a japanise import motor in it. I find it hard to belive that it is cheaper to do this than rebuild the heads. Has anyone else found this problem or am i just the unlucky one. Having said this it was a very simple job to change them over took around 8 hrs all up and i wasn't sweating.
