Mitlov Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 Hi, Looks like y'all have a fantastic forum here! I currently drive a Civic, but I'm looking to upgrade to a sportwagon in the next year or so. The Legacy GT is one major option I'm looking at (I'm also looking at the Volvo V50 and V70, and somewhat at the A4 Avant). Anyway, my question is this. My girlfriend and I like sunroofs, but I don't care for leather upholstery and she abhors it. The only way to get a sunroof on the Legacy GT is to get the Limited package, which also includes the leather upholstery. If I were to get a Legacy GT Limited, is it possible to just swap out the seat cushions with a regular GT? Would I retain the power seats, or would they be lost in the swap? I was thinking about buying a car with the limited package, then contacting GT (not limited) owners in my area and seeing if any of them wanted a free or nearly-free upgrade to leather upholstery. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a bit more difficult to swap than just "taking off the leather and putting on the cloth" though. You also have to consider the door cards.
