scottw
Today I was driving along, and noticed that my 1992 legacy no longer had as much power as before. It's almost like there is no longer a passing gear? I could not tell if it was low on tranny fluid or not, so I just added some, and a little better, but not much of a difference. I can get going 80MHP no problem, but if I shove the pedal to the floor, the "PWR" light comes on, but the RPM's stay in the low 2500-3500 zone, and nothing more. When I put the car into first gear, it is pretty sluggish. Any ideas of what happened? And what I could do to get it fixed, what would my price range be to fix it, and most of all, is it okay to be driving on it like it is? Thanks -Scott
Legacy777
have you properly checked the ATF fluid level? There are several threads that talk about the proper procedure to check the atf level. I'd start there, or maybe replace the atf fluid.
